Google Contacts

When you sign in with Google, we may request access to your Google Contacts (via the contacts.readonly scope). This is optional — you can decline and still use Genana. If you grant access, we read only contact names, email addresses, and phone numbers. We use this data solely to:

• Show you which of your contacts are already on Genana (friend suggestions)
• Let you invite contacts who are not yet on Genana

We do not store your Google OAuth access token on our servers. Contact data is imported once per request and is not continuously synced. You can delete your imported contacts at any time from your account settings.

Usage Information

We automatically collect:

• Device and browser information
• IP address and location data
• Usage patterns and interactions
• Prompts and generated content

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Process your AI generation requests

• We only use Google user data for the purposes described in this policy (friend discovery and invitations)
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the Service, comply with applicable laws, or as part of a merger or acquisition
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized
